Participants

Around 4000 young people (aged 6 - 20) and 1000 adults will participate directly in the project. Approximately two-thirds of these will be from the UK with the remainder coming from Europe, Africa, North and South America, and Asia.

These participants will come from the Woodcraft Folk, other member organisations of the International Falcon Movement, and other invited groups working with young people.

It is estimated that around 20,000 young people will make use of the internet-based part of the programme and many of these are expected to come from the UK as the project will be promoted here. The Woodcraft Folk's on-line Education for Sustainable Development resources have been widely used in schools and youth groups around the world and we anticipate a similar take up.

Participants in the Global Village project are expected to come from our existing contacts in the following countries:
